Privacy policy

This policy explains what Fat2Fitted ("we", "us") collects when you use fat2fitted.com and the Fat2Fitted app at app.fat2fitted.com, and what we do with it. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and a password. Your password is stored in a hashed form, so we can't read it.
- What you log. Meals and foods you add, calories and macros, workouts, weights, grocery items and prices, and your menu choices.
- Subscription status. Whether your trial or plan is active, and your billing customer ID.
- Basic technical data. Your device and browser type, and standard server logs such as IP address and timestamps, used to keep the service running and secure.
We don't collect your card number. Payments are handled by Stripe, which collects and stores your payment details.
How we use it
- To run the app, keep you signed in, and save your progress.
- To start, renew and cancel your subscription.
- To email you about your account, such as sign-in links and receipts, and to answer your support messages.
- To fix problems and keep the service secure.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run Fat2Fitted. They only handle your data to provide their service to us:
- Supabase stores your account and logs in its database.
- Stripe processes payments and manages your subscription.
- Vercel hosts the website and app.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users or us.
Health information
The foods, weights and workouts you log are personal and may relate to your health. We use them only to provide the app to you. Fat2Fitted is not a medical service, and we are not a healthcare provider.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and logs, except for records we must keep for tax, legal or fraud-prevention reasons, such as payment records held by Stripe.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing support@fat2fitted.com. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights, such as under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, and we will honor them. To cancel your subscription, open Settings in the app and tap Manage billing.
Cookies and storage
The app uses your browser's local storage and sign-in tokens to keep you signed in and remember your settings, such as light or dark mode. We don't use advertising cookies.
Children
Fat2Fitted is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email.
